The East Contra Costa Black Chamber of Commerce (ECC Black Chamber) exists to empower, advocate for, and elevate Black-owned businesses and entrepreneurs throughout East Contra Costa County. Our mission is to close economic equity gaps by cultivating a supportive ecosystem focused on education, access, collaboration, and opportunity.

We envision East Contra Costa Black Chamber of Commerce to be a thriving, Black-led economic landscape where businesses are sustained, scaled, and celebrated. ECC Black Chamber will serve as a trusted partner in building generational wealth, influencing policy, shifting narratives, and investing in the future of Black excellence.
ECC Black Chamber of Commerce will:
- Support Black Entrepreneurs and Small Businesses
By providing access to networking opportunities, training, and mentorship that increase visibility and drive sustainable growth for Black-owned businesses in East Contra Costa.
- Promote Economic Equity & Civic Advocacy
By hosting community listening sessions, endorsing Black-led economic initiatives, and influencing public policy through a united and strategic voice.
- Build Strategic Partnerships
By collaborating with civic leaders, corporations, nonprofits, and grassroots organizations to expand access to capital, government contracts, business resources, and new customer pipelines.
- Encouraging Leadership & Community Engagement
By nurturing leadership at every level, celebrating Black excellence, and delivering programming that empowers youth, emerging entrepreneurs, and established professionals alike.
- Anchor Black Economic Power Locally
By maintaining a public directory of Black-owned businesses, leading community awareness campaigns, and hosting impactful events like the annual Black Tie Business Dinner, positioning East Contra Costa as a hub of innovation, empowerment, and enterprise.
