About the ECC Black Chamber
A community-driven organization being built to elevate Black business in East Contra Costa County.
Built From the Ground Up
The East Contra Costa Black Chamber of Commerce was founded out of a clear and urgent recognition: Black business owners in East Contra Costa County needed a dedicated home. A space that isn't built by proximity to power or institutional inertia, but by authentic community need.
We are in our founding phase — establishing the organization with accountability, authenticity, and an unwavering commitment to community-first values. We are building free of nepotism and driven entirely by the desire to see Black-owned businesses thrive. We will officially launch in early 2027.
The ECC Black Chamber is fiscally sponsored by Dream2b, a registered nonprofit organization, and guided by a growing Advisory Council of East Contra Costa leaders.
Four Pillars of Purpose
Everything we are building is grounded in these four pillars — the core of our approach to closing economic equity gaps in our community.
Education
Equipping Black entrepreneurs with the knowledge, skills, and tools to build sustainable businesses.
Access
Opening doors to capital, contracting, certification, and opportunity that have historically been closed.
Collaboration
Building strategic alliances with civic leaders, corporations, and institutions to multiply impact.
Opportunity
Creating pathways where Black businesses can be discovered, supported, scaled, and celebrated.
